SERVICE AND PROCEDURE INFORMATION

Reservations: To assist in providing you quality service, we request you book your reservations at least 24 hours in advance. To book a reservation(s) please log into www.NationalBlackCar.com. We restrict web reservations at 5pm for the next day’s travel. If you need to book a reservation after 5pm for the next day or for same day bookings, please contact our office at (866) 615-1115 or (847) 637-0123.

Pricing Made Simple…What you see is all you pay!

National Black Car and Convention Components eliminates confusion by offering All Inclusive Pricing! Rates include all regular taxes, tolls and TIP. That’s right, a 15% TIP is included in the price. When you compare options, make sure you know the bottom line. Our rates NEVER have hidden fee’s or charges. When you book with National Black Car, we guarantee what you see is all you will pay!

Airport Greets:

The Greeterless Greet is our complementary “worry free” customer pick up procedure and is as simple as 1, 2 and 3: Please follow the following steps when you land at your destination airport:

  1. On the day of your travel, we will send a text and/or email containing your chauffeurs name and cell phone number.
  2. When you are ready to go, just call your on-site chauffeur directly for a Fast and Worry Free curbside pickup.
  3. Relax and enjoy your trip with National Black Car!

If you cannot reach your Chauffeur/Greeter – please call (866) 615-1115 or (847) 637-0123.

Chauffeur/ Greeter Greets are available for an additional charge. Additional parking charges may apply. The chauffeur/greeter will meet the traveler at a key egress point from the terminal or baggage claim with an identifying sign (customers name, company name or other). This traditional approach to meeting the traveler also affords with luggage assistance.

Flight delays:

  • Our system is integrated with Flightview.com. We monitor all IN Bound flights. If a flight is delayed, we will adjust the chauffeurs schedule to the best of our ability.
  • If the customer has a change in flight, that information must be called in to our office at (866) 615-1115 or (847) 637-0123 so we can update your reservation, failure to do so my result in a No-Show charge on the original reservation as well as a second charge for a replacement reservation.
  • National Black Car is not responsible if a flight delay makes it impossible for the scheduled chauffeur to pick up the customer. The scheduled chauffeur is defined as the driver listed on the 120-minute text/notification of the assigned driver.
  • If the originally assigned driver is no longer available to complete the trip, we reserve the right to issue a full charge no show.
  • In addition, if requested by the customer we will issue a second replacement reservations if we have driver availability.
  • If you fight is cancelled, NBC will cancel your car reservation at no charge. This does NOT apply to group or event reservations. Cancelled flights for group or event reservations will be closed out as a full charge no show.

No Show reservations are billed 100% of the reservation rate. Vehicle(s) will be released, and reservation converted to a No Show for the following reasons:

  • Non-Airport Pickups – if there is no contact from the customer 30 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.
  • Airport Pickups – if there is no contact from customer 60 min after the plane has landed for domestic flights and 120 minutes for international flights.

National Black Car reserves the right to add wait time for reservations that are closed as a No Show.

Wait time – call (866)615-1115 for current wait time rates by city

  • Non-Airport Pickups and private airports (FBO’s): we offer the first 15 minutes are free. Wait time will be charged every 15minutes after the free grace period.
  • Public Airport Pickups:
    1. Domestic flights we offer the first 45 minutes are free.
    2. International flights we offer the first 60 minutes are free.

    3. Diverted flights and the driver is “En Route” or “On Location”, wait time will be added to the reservation starting from the scheduled pickup time or the flight diversion notification (which ever one has the latest time stamp) less the free grace period (Domestic or International).

If the customer has a change in flight, that information must be called in to our office at (866) 615-1115 or (847) 637-0123 so we can update your reservation, failure to do so my result in a No Show charge on the original reservation as well as a second charge for a replacement reservation. If the reservation is combining travelers from 2 or more different flights, the reservation will be viewed as a NON airport pickup. The customer is required to set the scheduled pickup time and the terms and conditions of NON airport pickups will apply.

Cancelled reservations
Individual Domestic Cancelled Reservations
will be billed as follows:

  • Cancelled reservations for sedan, SUV or limousine airport transfer or local point to point with notification of less than 4 hours from scheduled pickup will be billed at 100%.
  • Sedan’s, Limousines and SUV’s charter or garage to garage reservations, with notification less than 120 hours from the schedule pickup date and time will be billed at 100% of the contracted value.
  • Specialty vehicles including but not limited to vans, stretch SUV’s, Limo buses, mini buses, Trolley’s and executive coach buses with notification less than 360 hours from the schedule pickup date and time will be billed at 100% of the contracted value.

International Cancelled Reservations will be billed as follows:

  • Cancelled reservations for sedan, SUV or limousine airport transfer or local point to point with notification of less than 72 hours from scheduled pickup will be billed at 100%.
  • Sedan’s, Limousines and SUV’s charter or garage to garage reservations, with notification less than 120 hours from the schedule pickup date and time will be billed at 100% of the contracted value.
  • Specialty vehicles including but not limited to vans, stretch SUV’s, Limo buses, mini buses, Trolley’s and executive coach buses with notification less than 360 hours from the schedule pickup date and time will be billed at 100% of the contracted value.

Group or Event Cancelled Reservations will be billed as follows:

  • Cancelled reservations for sedan, SUV or limousine airport transfer or local point to point with notification of less than 240 hours from scheduled pickup will be billed at 100%.
  • Sedan’s, Limousines and SUV’s charter or garage to garage reservations, with notification less than 240 hours from the schedule pickup date and time will be billed at 100% of the contracted value.
  • Specialty vehicles including but not limited to vans, stretch SUV’s, Limo buses, mini buses, Trolley’s and executive coach buses with notification less than 360 hours from the schedule pickup date and time will be billed at 100% of the contracted value.

Reservations will be recognized as cancelled only upon the issuance of a trip cancelation notice. Please call in all cancellations to (866) 615-1115 or (847) 637-0123. Email requests may not be accepted.

Changes to reservations National Black Car and Convention Components assumes no responsibility or liability for missed pickups associated with changing the pickup time or location without proper advanced notice. If the change is requested with less than the listed proper advanced notice, and the assigned driver is no longer able to cover the trip, the reservation will be closed out as a full charge NO Show. Proper advanced notice is a follow:

Individual Domestic Reservations:

  • Reservations for sedan, SUV or limousine airport transfer or local point to point with notification of more than 4 hours from scheduled pickup date and time.
  • Sedan’s, Limousines and SUV’s charter or garage to garage reservations, with notification more than 120 hours from the schedule pickup date and time.
  • Specialty vehicles including but not limited to vans, stretch SUV’s, Limo buses, mini buses, Trolley’s and executive coach buses with notification more than 360 hours from the schedule pickup date and time.

International Reservations:

  • Reservations for sedan, SUV or limousine airport transfer or local point to point with notification of more than 72 hours from scheduled pickup date and time.
  • Sedan’s, Limousines and SUV’s charter or garage to garage reservations, with notification more than 120 hours from the schedule pickup date and time.
  • Specialty vehicles including but not limited to vans, stretch SUV’s, Limo buses, mini buses, Trolley’s and executive coach buses with notification more than 360 hours from the schedule pickup date.

Group or Event Domestic Reservations:

  • Reservations for individual sedan, SUV or limousine airport transfer or local point to point with notification of more than 120 hours from scheduled pickup date and time.
  • Reservations for 5 or more sedan, SUV or limousine airport transfer or local point to point with notification of more than 240 hours from scheduled pickup date and time.
  • Sedan’s, Limousines and SUV’s charter or garage to garage reservations, with notification more than 240 hours from the schedule pickup date and time.
  • Specialty vehicles including but not limited to vans, stretch SUV’s, Limo buses, mini buses, Trolley’s and executive coach buses with notification more than 360 hours from the schedule pickup date and time.

In all cases National Black Car and Convention Components will attempt to satisfy any and all change requests. Requests for pickup time or location change MUST be phoned in to (866) 615-1115 or (847) 637-0123. Any change requests are only approved upon the issuing of a revised confirmation/Trip ID to the customer.

Extending charters: Note: ALL Charter service reservations will terminate at the prearranged time – National Black Car/Convention Components LLC will attempt to satisfy any and all additional charter time request, but no guarantee is made for additional time.

Safety is our prime concern: All travelers must be seated, and seat belted when if the vehicle is in motion.

Early termination of a reservation: Safety is a primary concern. If at any time a driver feels the trip is unsafe due to the actions and/or the conduct of the traveler(s), upon dispatch approval, the trip will terminate immediately where the vehicle is located. National Black Car has a zero-tolerance policy for underage drinking and/or substance use is strictly enforced by all members of our company. If the chauffeur feels any traveler is in violation of this policy, upon dispatch approval, the trip will terminate immediately where the vehicle is located, and the authorities will be notified.

Clean up fees and damages: Vehicles will be inspected at the end of your trip and after returning to the garage for any damages. A clean up charge of $50 per Sedan, SUV and Limo and $100 per van, mini bus, executive coach or specialty vehicles will be assessed if food or beverages are left in any vehicle. Spills of liquids and foods including vomit will require a minimum $150.00 professional cleaning fee will be assessed. Professional detailing that exceeds the $150.00 minimum will be assessed at cost plus 10%. Any and all damages incurred to vehicle due to client negligence not listed herein will be charged at cost incurred to repair the damage plus 10%.

Luggage limitations: All luggage must be stored in trunk, hatch or designated luggage storage area of the vehicle. If the traveler has ski’s or golf clubs, a SUV is required at a minimum. The customer is responsible for selecting the right size vehicle to accommodate their luggage requirements. If the luggage exceeds the requested vehicle class, a second vehicle maybe required to transport the luggage.

Extra Stops – call (866)615-1115 for current extra stop fee’s by city

  • In-Line Extra Stop will have an additional charge applied to the reservation. Wait time more than 15 minutes will be charged at the standard wait time rate.
  • Non-In Line Stop will result in the original point to point or airport transfer reservation to be converted to two (2) point to point reservations or a charter/as directed reservation.

Late Rate: Transportation provided between 11:00pm and 5:30am will be subjected to a late rate adjustment depending on the market and the time of night. If your pickup time is moved into the late rate time frame due to a flight delay, you will still be responsible for the additional charge.

Holiday Rates: There will be an additional charge for travel on Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and Easter.

Payment Options and terms:

  • Credit Cards: For reservations using a credit card as the form of payment, valid credit card information must be provided at time of reservation. The credit card will be charged 1 to 2 business days after the reservation(s) is/are completed.
  • Direct Bill/Invoice: For those approved by National Black Car or Convention Components to pay by check or ACH, National Black Car and Convention Components will issue an invoice. The term for the invoice is Net 15. We reserve the right to issue partial or progress invoices.
  • If the customer ops to use a credit card to pay for a direct bill invoice, a 5% service fee will be added to the total cost.
  • Declined credit cards or bounced checks maybe be subject to penalty charge of $100.00 or 10% of the total (whichever is greater) per occurrence.
  • Unpaid balances will have 10% late fee charge added per month of the unpaid balance until the balance is paid in full. Late fees will start 48 hours after the payment was due in accordance with the above.

Customer Service Resolution: If your schedule pickup is delayed due to extraordinary traffic conditions to include but not limited to, extreme weather, road constriction, traffic accidents or acts of God, National Black Car and Convention Components assumes no liability.

If your scheduled pickup is delayed due a National Black Car or Convention Components error and the transportation service is performed, you will be afforded the following:

  • 20-40 minutes late will result in a 25% discount.
  • 41-60 minutes late will result in a 50% discount.
  • Greater than 60 minutes will result in a 75% discount.
